At Home, a chain of more than 250 home décor superstores throughout the United States, issued an RFP in 2018 for a retail credit partner to issue to the At Home Insider Perks® Credit Card. As a senior copywriter with Synchrony, I helped created an advertising collateral that assisted the business development team’s proposal. Synchrony won the contract with At Home, and I helped integrate campaign messaging into consumer-facing messaging for the brand.

At Home needed a retail card that resonated with its customers and enhanced the shopping experience. In a highly competitive market, consumers were looking for an attractive acquisition offer, flexible financing options, and a rich value proposition for rewards. As part of its RFP, At Home required creative advertising collateral that set the stage for robust, consumer-facing messaging. The challenge was twofold: craft persuasive proposal material to win the contract and, once awarded, integrate a cohesive, compelling narrative that connected financing benefits with the home décor lifestyle that At Home represents.

Our team created a full suite of digital and print assets, featuring homey headlines like “Unlock the rewards” and “Make room for something rewarding.” Our integrated creative approach was instrumental in Synchrony winning the contract with At Home and paved the way for a successful, unified marketing rollout that drove card adoption and deepened customer engagement.
